SERVICE ADVISOR

We are looking for that special person that can take charge and ensure our customers are taken care of in the Service Drive. As a Service Advisor with Wharton Chevrolet GMC, you will be the person that our customers look to when they need help with their vehicle. We need a Service Advisor who will take on the large role of building relationships with our customers.
You will have the responsibility of taking our customer through the entire repair process, keeping them informed of the status of their vehicle, and ensuring their satisfaction before they leave our facility. Our Service Advisors will always need to conduct themselves professionally. They need to represent Wharton Chevrolet GMC brand standards by delivering the highest quality customer experience. All applicants should highly value honesty and integrity.

The ideal candidate:

  • Minimum 1+yrs prior Service Writer/Advisor Experience REQUIRED
  • Experience using CDK is a huge Plus
  • Must be team oriented and focused on a High Level of Customer Service
  • Should possess knowledge of automotive industry and parts
  • Knowledge/Experience with Chevy and GMC products is a huge plus
  • Excellent sales skills
  • Must be honest and ethical and possess good communication and organizational skills
  • Must be on time and dependable
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

SERVICE TECH

Are you looking for a new opportunity? Do you want to spend your day doing something you love? We are looking for Entry Level Mechanics to Experienced Service Technicians! In this role, you will perform vehicle service and repair work as assigned in accordance with dealership and factory standards. You will be responsible for maintaining the requisite technical knowledge and skill to efficiently and accurately repair vehicles.

Requirements:

  • Previous service tech experience is required
  • Experience with our brands is a plus but not necessary
  • Must be a team player
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
  • All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA

Responsibilities:

  • Perform work as outlined on repair order accurately in accordance with dealership and factory standards
  • Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair
  • Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts
  • Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is needed
  • Notify service advisor if additional work outlined is not needed or if more time will be required
  • Document work performed
  • Keep shop area neat, clean and be able to account for all dealership-owned tools at all times
  • Willingness to learn with hands-on training

PARTS ADVISOR

As a Parts Counter Advisor, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their parts needs, maintaining inventory levels, and providing exceptional customer service. Our ideal candidate would have experience in the automotive industry, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. You must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

  • Set up orders for shipment, delivery or pick up
  • Provide in-store customer service for browsing customers, current service customers, and general overall knowledge of available upselling opportunities
  • Sale of automotive serviceable parts/ replacement parts/ tires
  • Updating customers on statuses of backordered items and current placed orders
  • Answering incoming calls regarding sale of parts and customer inquiries
  • Keep current on parts inventory
  • Work as a team with Parts and Service Staff

You will be expected to provide excellent customer service to our patrons, engage appropriately, and present automotive parts inventory to them in an efficient and professional manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean and vacuum vehicles for service customers after repair to include: exterior, interior, underside, trunk area, under hood and more
  • Retrieve vehicles from and return to shop or storage area
  • Ensure that working area is kept clean
  • Demonstrate behavior consistent with the Company's Vision, Mission and Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and suppliers
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety standard
  • Inspects quality of work performed to ensure guest satisfaction
